Mamma Dough is a fun little spot in Brixton. The pizza is really good, and they also offer gluten free for those who don't eat gluten. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the servers are really nice.

Good Pizza spot. I had their Beatrice which I liked, especially because of the butternut squash. Topping were good and a generous quantity. The pizza/dough itself was good, not the best in London but worth a try. The restaurant is quite nice and service is quick and friendly.

It's a worthy alternative to Franco Manca and - let's be honest - a more enjoyable location than FM's cold chairs and tables in the winter months. FM might just clinch it in terms of being able to turn out a better crust but Mamma Dough's a better dining experience.

Fresh food - thin and crispy pizzas with both expected and creative ingredient combos. Rustic wood fired bases, complemented by a rustic, (maybe hipster) vibe makes this a chill place for a nice meal or small gathering. I'd come back!

The first question we asked ourselves was: is it as good as Franco Manca? The simple answer is both yes and no. The pizza is delicious in its own right. You don't get the chew from the dough like FM but the it's super thin with a crisp crunch. The toppings are also fresh and lively. I had the Beatrice and loved the contrast of the feta and the butternut squash. A keeper!

I visited following a friends recommendation backed by favourable reviews on google and despite a cold accent here at Yelp. Sometimes its worth to go with your gut and so I ended up enjoying a lovely meal in the warmth of early afternoon sun. The gourmet pizzas are really growing on me so I picked the John o Goat pizza featuring goats cheese, caramelised onions, olives and walnuts. Tasty 12 inch sourdough base is in the neapolitana style with crunchy sides, simple and aromatic. The real experience with this pizza presents itself in the balance of ingredients. The saltiness of the goats cheese and olives really compliments the walnuts and onions. A truly gourmet experience, just as advertised

My buddy Karen brought the gang here for a true feast! I was really impressed with the authentic quality of the food (and I go to Italy A LOT...!) We had olives, burrata and a green salad to start. Each was amazing but the organic greens were really stand-out, with unusual peppery notes that I loved. The pizzas arrived looking gorgeous and even my gluten free version looked really attractive. I'd expected it to be a base of crushed, dried beans that made a crust (from the description on the menu), but it was more of a pie with whole beans topped with an incredible sauce and the pizza accoutrements I was expecting. The flavours were sublime and I really didn't think I'd have room for dessert, but then the group ordered brownies to share and I was 100% seduced. They were sexily presented, warm and dark, (just like I like my men ;) Cannot recommend enough!
